Hi Honi,
Baruchim Habayim to you and Steve. I am glad to see you had not just a good time, but an extraordinary time in Eretz Yisrael.
Israel is an amazing place, and you wrote a wonderful blog that perfectly captured your experiences.
I will forward this to others who are preparing for their first trip or another trip after a long delay.
I hope that your return to Alabama was not a let down. An American synagogue becomes a real letdown after praying at the Kotel. I am sure you do have extra spiritual zeal however as you are preparing your first Pessach as a married couple. Hopefully you are using special Kaylim or other articles that you purchased on your trip to add to the Kedusha during your Sedur.
Show and look again at your pictures during the Chag. Imagine that you are spending Pessach in Israel. Like the humbleness of the Karpot wets your appetite for your upcoming feast, let the pictures and specialness of Pessach in your humble surroundings prepare you for your next Israel adventure.

Honi, I know you only know me through Steve as a work relation, but I feel I know you more deeply through your blog, it was wonderfully written to capture your feelings and bring the reader into your joy. To be able to spend this time with your new partner in the heart of Israel, the only word that comes in mind is "WOW! Sister this time will be with both of you for the rest of your lives.
